- Children up to 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Baby change facilities available.
- Reasonably pushchair-friendly.visitor’s common areas.
Accessibility information
- The zoo is reasonably wheelchair friendly. Wheelchair access is available to the Pavilion Café, Pavilion Pantry, Gift Shop and all exhibits.
- Path surfaces are either tarmac or crushed and rolled stone and viewing areas are designed with wheelchair users in mind.
- Unfortunately, the Safari Roadtrain is not adapted for wheelchair use.
- The Giraffe House’s first floor is accessible by lift and a ramp (via the Zarafa Heights Walkway).
- Wheelchair loan and Mobility scooter hire is available.
- A carer can access free of charge when accompanying a person with reduced mobility or special needs.

- Nearest station: Norwich (then take bus route 37A towards East Harling at Castle Meadow bus stop).
- By car: Banham Zoo is signposted off the A11 and A140 – Just follow the brown tourist signs.
